When MedAccess was launched and we had the capability of logging in to our EMR from any location, I decided to start this business. 

As the owner and operator of Connors Medical Practice Solutions, I have over 25 years of experience submitting claims to MSI. When I first starting billing for health care providers we were submitting some claims on paper and some through a program called MOM. Over the years I have become very passionate about providing support to physicians across Nova Scotia to alleviate the stress and admin burden that comes along with billing for their services.

 

I fully understand the complexities of billing under all payment models and incentives including but not limited to; fee for service, LFM, allied health care pilot project billing submissions and qualifying claims, guaranteed minimum income payment submissions for specialists, shadow billing submissions, etc.

Then next step for me is to launch my own billing platform which will be Accuro. This will give me the freedom of submitting claims for physicians without their own EMR. Typically this is the case for physicians who have hospital claims that need to be submitted to MSI. I am so excited for this new branch of my business and to learn yet another billing software!
